H Upmann No. 2 BRE DIC 18 (R90)

Location: Indoor basement cigar room (still under construction)

Beverage - Aberlour 12 single malt, rich with sherry and citrus flavors.

Lighter - Vector Commando. Always effective and reliable.

Cigar is fourth from this box purchased FOH last year. All previous have been 90+. Construction is excellent with no blemishes, firmly packed with some oily sheen on wrapper. First third predominant flavors are earthy with some hints of roasted almond and peanut. Retrohale is smooth and pleasant. Second third flavors intensify slightly becoming a little dry, draw is slightly firm but burn is even with just some reheating required to keep it going strong, ash is even. Last third reveals no further tasting notes just more smoking pleasure. Rating 91.
