Wookie Posted April 15, 2020 Posted April 15, 2020 Has anybody read this 20 volume series? I read them all in early 2000s and they got me through a stressful time when I awoke every night around 2:30am and would read myself back to sleep for a couple hours. I'm starting the series again. They loosely cover English naval history during the Napoleanic years (1800-1815). If you like historical fiction you might like this series. Hell of an author!
JohnS Posted April 15, 2020 Posted April 15, 2020 They are a great series, highly rated. I first learnt about them when I watched Russell Crowe in the (loose) film adaptation, Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World in 2003. 1
