AMO Abr 16 Esplendido. I've been sitting on this stick for a while waiting for it to hit 5 years, explanation below. Beautiful sunny Saturday today seemed like the right time to put fire to it.

This was very generously given to me by @Islandboy in a trade a while back. He mentioned it was from a special box of his and he was hoping to get them to 5 years before really dipping into them, so I decided to follow suit and wait for the 5 year mark too because of his generosity in sharing one with me. I'm glad I did. 

This was pure Esplendido flavor perfection from beginning to end.  Nubbed it without a single relight. Dead nuts burn the whole way, with ash hanging on like a champ. Construction could not have been better than this. 

Brother, thanks a ton for sharing one of these with me. If the rest of your box is like this one, and I really hope for you that it is, then you are in for a lot of great smoking experiences.

Haha, you beat me to it, I was awaiting April 1 with much anticipation, decided I’d wait a few more days ‘till Saturday night. We think alike. Nice!! Glad to hear it was a winner. I think I plucked one out about a year ago and it was already delicious. Now I’m really looking forward to tonight. Aloha Braddah!

The impeccable construction and razor-sharp burn is real. It’s blossomed into something elegant

I have no will power - I try to get some mileage under mine but I can't.  I've got to find some way to make a hard and fast rule to only smoke them on certain occasions, just to start getting some age on a few.  I think I'll smoke one tonight while I contemplate this idea. 😁

Outstanding. So fragrant when you sip on it super slow. Draw to hard or too often and it will turn quickly. I just love the LGC long and skinny sticks. Such a shame we only have one vitola left in regular production.

This one’s for @inter4alia and @Islandboy - curse you guys. EOS JUN 19 after Easter ham. Pink Floyd Animals on the Bose - just glorious. A perfect end of day wind down cigar. I’m gonna try to hold out the bottom row til 2024. That allows me 2 a year until then....fat chance.

Once I'm half way through a box I hold off to smoke until the box month.

Hmmmm, that's an ABR code and it's April. Time to fire one up!

The Sig VI is fantastic! Not sure what would keep it from being a 100 pointer.

A lot of strength, quite full bodied.

Cream, biscuit, hay, honey.

Rich and flavorful.

Perfect construction, great draw.

Flawless wrapper, awesome burn.

I see why these go for what they do these days.

Between those and the Esplendidos I'm not sure of my favorite. One day I may get my hands an older one but for right now I'm digging the new(er) ones.

Smoke the last one of the box. 
This cigar ash is solid. When they came out the ash was fluffy and all over me. 
The wind made it fall aside.
