...to smoke those cigars you've kept your hands off of for months or years. Too special. Considering the current state of affairs I am a bit concerned if something drastic happens I may never get

Funny you mention this topic. A couple of months ago I decided I was done buying LE and RE so I started smoking through them every day and have not touched any regular production in a couple of months

Finally broke down and cracked my last box of the Grandes de España, this box from 2005. Glad I did, they're really good!

Boy did I love Boli Lonsdales!! I have a picture somewhere of me sorting through boxes with MC at Gerards years ago. It was my go-to cigar for 10 years.

Terrific cigars. Only a few left here, will be a sad day when I smoke my last

Here's one in the original vein of the post. Had this box 10 years on now. Smoked through a couple more boxes in the past, those long gone.

One of the last left in Germany when I bought this one.

Sealed since arrival. Hoping they're in good condition still. Plume can be a bitch and you never know when it might strike!

Time to fire one up!

Fantastic smoke, paired with a Cognac

I'm glad I cracked this one. Been sitting on quite a few boxes I thought I might sell down the road. Decided since I'd never find these again unless at an exorbitant price I'd rather smoke than let go.....

Smoke what you've got! No time like the present :)

Glad you decided to smoke them!

I was gifted one of these like ten years ago. Didn’t smoke it until this summer. It was hopelessly plugged sadly. The flavors i did get were delicious though! Beautiful box!

That ashtray is gorgeous. I collect Murano glass.

This thread tho! Wow. ? I have pretty much NOTHING to add. Cigars I can only dream of! Impressive. Maybe in another life.

CHEERS

Don’t make yourself so small.
true a lot of cigars I would never get close to.
luckily we can see them here and a BOTL or SOTL have so much fun with it and shares it with us.

If it wasn’t so complicated and expensive during COVID to ship to the USA we could figure something out. May be we could do that when steam will be out?

That's awesome. First time I ever had uni in my life was in Santa Barbara. We got to talking to the fishermen coming in, and one of them grabs an urchin, cuts it open and plops some uni into our hands. Man...nothing ever tasted better. It was ocean butter.

Yes to both great SOTLs!

My son is in Denver so we'll have to have a smoke or two next time I get that way @VKUTT (who knows when?).

I still owe you a trade @Perla that we discussed a while ago as I recall. Take your pick from this thread!
