TheCigarslayer Posted March 3, 2020 Posted March 3, 2020 Medium-full bodied, flavors Black coffee, cream, vanilla Last time I had one from this box it was total trash. Seems these need TIME! This was a nice little 20-25 min smoke that had all the classic flavors of its big brothers. I’m going to put them back in the bottom on the humidor for another year or so and hope they turn way creamier. 88/100 rating 2
mbflash80 Posted March 4, 2020 Posted March 4, 2020 christ almighty...that wrapper is....rough...at least it smoked nice! 2
Cigar Salute Posted March 4, 2020 Posted March 4, 2020 the wrappers on the Panatelas are always a bit rough from what I've seen, but God damn are they delicious! I have a Sept 2017 box from La Corona that is smoking very well. The Exquisitos might be the best kept secret in the Linea Classica. The Linea Classica blend does phenomenally well in thin formats IMHO.

From what I've seen in my stocks...17 was not the best year. I'm VERY glad these are turning around. First 1-2 were rated at about 40-50 in my book. Flavors are turning around, and I think they will be great in short order.

Ive never actually had one so good to know...but man considering the premium cost of those you would think they might be a little higher quality
joey rockets Posted March 4, 2020 Posted March 4, 2020 I have never tried the pantela but I do keep a box of exquisitos around. For some strange reason, they now cost about the same per box?

Probably will never buy them again but fun novelty to me.
La_Tigre Posted March 5, 2020 Posted March 5, 2020 Yah I grabbed a few sticks in Havana and winced when they rang up... 10 hours ago, TheCigarslayer said: At the price per stick they are a horrible value but I picked them up on a whim 2-ish years ago.
