Montecristo No. 1 NOV18 (McRW)*

I'm loving Montecristo No.1 more than No.2 right now...probably because of the size but I'm convinced the flavor is more concentrated and rich. An expressive array of cocoa, sweet cream, biscuit, toasted tobacco and every now and then some citrus. It is rich and mouth wateringly delicious with great balance. My first love was the No.2 where a 5 year old example is still one of the best cigar experiences I've ever had but those never smoked as good as these No.1's do at this age. Can't wait to see where the next 3 or so years take this box. Currently 92 points with upside.

I'll always prefer that vitola over any piramides...guess I never gravitate towards piramides. And wow, 92 pts with less than 1.5 yrs on it?? You better get more of that box code

Awesome review.   For the people saying they don't hear much about them you missed the boxes from ESL 2018 that came in last August and the review that FOH put up.  I have not had one yet of the ones I purchased.  With the Montecristo review weekend I can't wait any longer to smoke one.   Also Lonsdale is at the top of my list for Vitolas and I love the Monte profile so I am super excited.
