Good point, but I was thinking acclimatization had more to do with humidity control than temperature control. With a closed tube environment, I imagined that there would be a lot less humidity flux and therefore less acclimatization.  But that was just a guess/theory.

Because tubos raise the probability of mold I always take them out of the tubes on arrival, inspect then treat them like normal cigars. Seem to come over humidified more than under so they get the standard minimum 60 days before I'd even touch them

I do 90 days with the cap off, then store long term with the cap back on as legend has it that tubos age differently.
