Popular Post cookj1 Posted February 10, 2020 Popular Post Posted February 10, 2020 (edited) I had the opportunity to smoke the Montecristo Herederos on Saturday and I thought I should report back. I love the size and it would probably fit in nicely if you put a pig tail on it and called it an Especiale #3. Instead, this gets an LCDH release and I’m not disappointed because the LCDH releases are all notable to me, this cigar included. I was very impressed with the wrapper, construction, and draw. Bang on perfect. The Herederos has Montecristo DNA running through it’s veins. I have to admit, although the first half was very reminiscent of an Edmundo, the second half was the show stopper. The first half had hints of cocoa, cream, and a touch of sweetness. Again, you wouldn’t be faulted if you thought the flavours were like an Edmundo. The difference here being a fantastic ring gauge. Fans of Montecristo are going to love this release. The second half goes into chub mode. Here you get more strength but the flavours turn to Cuban twang...oh the glory! My mouth was singing for hours afterwards. The beauty is that it smoked so well young. What’s this going to be like with some age on it? I can’t wait to find out. Derboesekoenig Posted February 10, 2020 Posted February 10, 2020 Wow I think the supremos got all the hype. Didn't even realize these existed. Much better vitola I'd be willing to try versus the supremos as well 1
Connoisseur Kim Posted February 10, 2020 Posted February 10, 2020 Can't wait to see this LCDH cigar being on 24:24!!!!나의 SM-N950N 의 Tapatalk에서 보냄
benfica_77 Posted February 10, 2020 Posted February 10, 2020 What's the rg and length? I can't see on Google. Thx 1
Notsocleaver Posted February 10, 2020 Posted February 10, 2020 Man I must way out of the loop, I haven't even heard of this thing. 1
NSXCIGAR Posted February 10, 2020 Posted February 10, 2020 Haven't heard anything about these other than they're set for pre-production debut on Feb 27...so you must be well connected. What are the dimensions on it? Looks like a great vitola--~42-44 RG, 5.5"?
cookj1 Posted February 11, 2020 Author Posted February 11, 2020 ...not sure the dimensions, but I'd guess 42-44 rg, 6.5 inches. I don't have a box. They're not even out yet. I was just given a couple of pre-release singles. 2

They come in a nice Montecristo yellow box. The following is the information from the web site; The Supremos come in a Montesco vitola and measures 130 mm by a rg of 55. I currently have them resting from their travels. Should be ready around the first of March. I'll see if I have time on Monday and post a couple of pics. No Supremos. This is a different cigar. I guess a Lonsdale or long corona?
metro_habanos Posted February 17, 2020 Posted February 17, 2020 @Derboesekoenig Yea. I went back and read it again after I posted. Seen that they were just mentioned so I removed the post. Thanks...?

Connoisseur Kim Posted February 26, 2020 Posted February 26, 2020 Cigar Aficionado has a photo of the beautiful box. I am wondering if a family of four can live in the box after the bonus cigars succumb to minor arson. TBH, this cigar box suits well for this Monte LCDH! Can't wait to see these cigars!
