Based on your choices from the previous thread , pick three, only three. ;)

I  have amalgamated a few sizes that were similar.

can you please do it in this order

  • Your first and second  pick is with your heart.
  • Your  last pick is with your head based on what you think will sell best in the global market.

My heart says 50 cab of laguito 2 and 109, market says Lonsdale. With the success of the punch 898 and ERDM la reina, one can hope we stop getting jawbreakers. Long live the skinnies

I had submitted 3 "market" choices in the previous thread but only picked one of those 3 (because my heart decided otherwise)

I went for the 50 cab laguito no.2 and the 10 count 109 with my heart. The Montesco with my head. Any rebuilding would need a bigger rg cigar to gain attention of the masses. I do like the sound of a diplomatico lancero or Lonsdale though!

I went with your choices Rob because I think those choices literally 'blew the others out of the water'. I'm not trying to 'piss in your pocket' (an Australian colloquial term which means that a compliment is genuine and not handed out to flatter or illicit a favour), but consider the following...

1) A 10-count of Diplomaticos Bushido. This 2014 Asia-Pacific Regional release would have to be the most esteemed PCC release in the last ten years, arguably. It comes in a quality Numero 109 size. Bringing it out in a 10 count will see boxes selling themselves.

2) A 50 cab of Diplomaticos Petit Corona. Okay, well this would be like the Serbian distributor bringing out a 50 cab of Sancho Panza Numero 109s (in 2014), or even the German-Austrian-Polish Distributor bringing out a 50 cab of Por Larranaga Coronas (in 2017). The Diplomaticos No.4, discontinued in 2010, is definitely a cigar I would like to come back into production. This would be brave of PCC, in the 211 Regional Edition releases since 2005, only seven have been a minuto, perlas or secretos size and only one has been a coronas size, the aforementioned Por Larranaga Coronas. There have been no petit corona Regional Edition releases in that time. I repeat, none. Bring these out in 50 cabs and they will sell like hot cakes.

3) Diplomaticos Celestiales Fino SLB 25. Can anyone hunt down a Ramon Allones 2009 Asia-Pacific Regional Edition box these days? No? The Celestialies Finos size, which is tapered at both the head and the foot, is a reputed vitola in a similar way to the Numero 109 (although I would argue that the Nro. 109 is more esteemed) This would be another release that would sell itself, in my opinion.

My heart is definitely leaning towards the 50 cab Petit Coronas. Nothing would make me happier than to be able to get a box of these. My head says that the 10-count Bushidos will become the Regional Edition or special release version of Cohiba Talismans.

I wanted to vote for the Lancero and the Corona Gorda, but anything in a 50 cab sucks me in like a tracker beam.

There may be one caveat: it is impossible to create a blend for any vitola from the tobacco leaves palette used for Diplomaticos.

Usually, Habanos analyzes successful limited releases and makes a decision about switching to a regular one.

Therefore, I would recall successful regionals and suggest repeating these formats and blends.

But in this case, too small a number of copies, premium packaging or a rare format can play a cruel joke and the cigar in the regular production will not be in demand. First of all, it should be a delicious blend and a convenient format.
