Popular Post Bucky McSwensen Posted January 28, 2020 Popular Post Posted January 28, 2020 Just over a year old, these still need time but it was good to get a baseline. Hit hard with sweet hat and cedar and a touch of coffee. Lots of pepper at the start. Very tight draw. Will open up with some drying out but I won't be touching this again for at least a year. Middle third loses all sweetness. It is all dark coffee wood and pepper. This is robust and strong and enjoyable but I'd like this to a budget NC short smoke and not a high end Cuban. Still pleasant but not hitting it's potential. I get little citrus kicks and touches of cream but they don't last long at all. Final really opens up. Okay maybe I will revisit sooner. Sweet honey, grass, hay, a touch of vanilla, light pepper and heavy coffee. This is what I was waiting for. Good nice young cohiba flavor. It clearly has legs to improve, I got a good baseline, but likely will avoid a while to let it open into it's potential. Value this at 9 bucks Cuba rating 0.71 Cost rating 0.56 10
RDB Posted January 28, 2020 Posted January 28, 2020 Yeah I have a box of the very same code, and they have totally kicked my ass. I have made a note ‘leave these three years’. I love the size though. 1
