Popular Post BeerPimp Posted January 28, 2020 Popular Post Posted January 28, 2020 I purchased this in 2018 as a quarter box on clearance. I was itching to get some Coro's after smoking a really good Siglo II. Those two cigars are my favorite vitolas. The first one I smoked last year was good but it didn't quite have as much of the honey to it it was mostly grass, hay, and a slight wood flavor. After the Coro I smoked from the blind tasting last year I am hooked (well even more so than before). From the first 1/3 of that cigar I knew exactly what it was. This one has a pretty good wrapper not excellent but good. After I cut it on cold draw I get light tobacco. The draw was perfect. Sorry for so few and the horrible pictures our cigar bar has very dark lighting so its tough without using a flash. I was at the bar so I didn't want to be "that guy". First third and it starts off very light. Mainly tobacco with a touch of grass. The second third it starts to hit on those Cohiba notes. I am getting the typical grass, hay, and honey. The honey not is a little light. I am also getting a little black pepper even though I was smoking this very slow. The last third the honey picks up and it just that and the hay and grass. It burnt really well with only one minor touch up. I ended up smoking this to the nub. I will say this a good example of a Coro but not excellent. I have a tough time picking out the citrus/lemongrass that many people talk about. I will say with it being winter I am glad to have such an amazing cigar lounge close to me. I will give this a 90%. I am excited to try the PSP Coro's I ordered last year but I will wait for warm weather. 5
