Popular Post Habana Mike Posted January 26, 2020 Popular Post Posted January 26, 2020 This almost 6 year old CoRo has the wrapper I expect on a Cohiba. Silky, golden and blemish-free. Perfect construction with a firm but serviceable draw. Well packed, I clip it with the Palio and fire it up. Takes to the flame producing billowing smoke with sweet cream, hay and a slight nuttiness. Approaching the mid-point the burn line is slightly wavy though not enough to yet require a touchup. Smooth rich smoke continues with honey notes, vanilla and a balsa wood quality. Medium bodied. For me, 5+ years on these really makes a nice smoke. Coming into the final third the burn line has evened itself out, smoke production continues. Some tanginess sort of like orange peel presents. The cigar is moving to medium full. Solid dark ash holds firmly over an inch each time before tapped off. Only ashed twice so far. As the cigar concludes after a solid 90 minutes of enjoyment it still remains cool and smooth. The finish is long lasting leaving a sweet orange taste on my lips and palate. This is a perfect example of what Coro should be. A 95/100 14
RDB Posted January 26, 2020 Posted January 26, 2020 That is how to do it... in five years' time I should have some boxes ready like this! 2
