Cohiba Robusto 2018 (CRW)

This cigar came to me as a gift from a friend that was overseas.  Cigar looks beautiful has typical aroma and cold draw of Cohiba, strong straw - draw is perfect, just a little resistance.  First third shows this is a young cigar, flavor is strong straw, black coffee, and red pepper also has astringent feel - medium strength. 

Midway, the flavors stay the same but the strength ramps up to full - nice buzz at this point.

Finale, a little sweetness starts to come in and spice backs off a bit, but the predominant flavors remain the same and the strength backs down to medium again.  Burn and construction are perfect throughout.  

Final thoughts - This is definitely a cigar that needs age, has some rough edges - typical Cohiba flavors are pretty strong throughout.  Grade B+
