On another note, I've seen that little 'signature' or 'mark' on MANY Cuban boxes over the years. (The penciled mark next to the Habanos burn stamp) Does anyone know what in the hell it is for? I'd imagine a QA check (laughable I know) or a signature of someone?

I say smoke it!  My oldest, smoked cigars are from 1926. I have one single Clear Havana from 1910.   The experience is worth it IMO.
