Whenever I see your posts up, it somehow how always reminds me of Johnny Cash's 'One piece at a Time' 6

MagicalBikeRide Posted August 21, 2023 Posted August 21, 2023 I think lots of people would say two years to become approachable and five years to develop that exceptional PL caramel note. Personally, I don’t mind them young. I find them quite consistent like this. When aged, they’ve had much greater potential to surprise me. 4

Every box is different. Bought PLMC LGR AGO-17, arrived 4/16/2020 - started getting Malt and Honey, which I'm sure to some palates is Caramel just last December. My PL Pantelas (discontinued) ASR Jun-17 that arrived on 7/06/2021, just went the same flavors this past month - 6 years and one month of age and 2+ years in my humidor . I have both light and dark wrappers. For me the dark wrappers hit that magic flavor first. The light wrappers are still aging away and I'm waiting. I try one every 6 months. The last PLP was the best cigar of this month! Held the flavor all the way past the band. 6
Popular Post PuroDiario Posted August 22, 2023 Popular Post Posted August 22, 2023 I scored some interesting finds in a random Estanco near my mom’s in San Sebastián. Some of the bolivars have some mold, need to see how I bring them back. Bolivar Tubos n1 from 2001 LGC MDO n3 - 2003 (she told me based on her inventory list) Few Wide Edmundo’s to try after lots of praise on the forum. 32
MagicalBikeRide Posted August 22, 2023 Posted August 22, 2023 Wow. What a find. Popular Post Ford2112 Posted August 23, 2023 Popular Post Posted August 23, 2023 Not a purchase. These crappers were given to me by a friend to store in my humidor. I figure I'll smoke one for giggles n grins with him. 13
Popular Post Miguel Gracias Posted August 24, 2023 Popular Post Posted August 24, 2023 Traveling small cities in spain is a true gem. I was in Vigo last December and gone to 20 different estancos there. None of them had any habanos but Cohiba, but the last one I visited had some vintage davidoff, discontinued Vegas Robaina and other vitolas that were impossible to find. Imagine going to every small town and look for rare habanos without any price changes! 9
