Popular Post CyrusTheOk Posted June 29, 2023 Popular Post Share Posted June 29, 2023 Took a fun little vacation for a couple of weeks and visited LCDH in Greece, Lebanon and Turkey as well as Duty frees in all those countries. Pickings were beyond slim but was able to nab some deal in particular BHK in Greece Duty free about $1000 less than other places but still way too expensive LOL. What I expected to be highlighted was the LCDH in Beirut touted by cigar aficionado as the largest LCDH in the world they had less of a selection than most places clearly even they were struggling with supply these days. Beautiful though and if they had anything besides Trindads and Cohiba's I would mostly like have purchased enough to get into the VIP room....one day things will get back to normal LOL 26 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I passed on the Monte 2, upman 2 and Mag 54 at $59 CAD. Seems my days of buying cheap and cheerful on the road have arrived. I can’t say I trusted the third best cigar shop in downtown Ottawa to get moisture right - it was much more about the bongs. I passed on their sticks in their entirety. In defense of my father’s land, the real cigar shop was closed when I was there. the place in Kanata was nice although when I opened with the dream that he had some Of the Diplomatico Canada RE I did get a store like they had seen a man asking for a unicorn. They had a few open boxes of Cubans at the same prices as downtown at that was about it. Only Cohiba was siglo II. they did cut the RG for me, so there is that. Hotel was around the corner from a store on younge st downtown (edited to remove the vendors name). Picked up a sancho P Beli. No Dip Canada re. But man, they had a great singles collection if you can handle the HABANOS pricing and the plain labels. If Habanos had not decided to try and kill this hobby I would have picked up more singles of a few things I have yet to try. Off to the trading section I guess for that now. photo is of the portion of the walk in w Cuban singles. Plenty of boxes above.
