I haven't posted in here for quite some time and thought that it would be nice to share some vintage cigars that just came in. I like to collect and smoke as many different vitolas de salida as possib

I don’t normally post my purchases but, aside from the Nudies bundles I ordered, the Lanceros will probably be the last cigars I receive for a while. The other two are highlights from my last few orde

I'm excited over these - never had one before, but I'm a big fan of other Trinis, most of which were fortunately acquired before the Cigarmaggedon pricing change.  I'm also encouraged that several of you have provided highly favorable opinions for other 2021 vintage La Trovas, including from BSM.

Box delivered sealed, code is good, labels, interior packaging, and box good, and cigars look amazing.

i miss when these were under $400...

Why don't they make them in 10s?

I just bought a couple singles from this same date/factory code. I've yet to try the vitola but I've heard promising things so far.

irlfriend increases frequency and sternness of hints that I might be buying too many cigars

Actual quote from her last night: "I just don't want you to have hobbies that you love more than me."

😬

Amazingly, she's demonstrated an ability to  determine whether I smoked a Cuban or NC when I get home.  So far she's 4/4 in guessing.  She says Cubans smell earthier, while New World smells like "dirty old man" (another actual quote).

Hmmmm...

Those wrappers look pretty good on the belicosos. The single I have is a thick, dark and mottled. I'm almost scared to smoke it. 😆

It's definitely a good looking box.  The smell however - like someone mixed ammonia with ripe horse manure.  They smell very fresh and quite different from the fruity, raisiny, chocolatey smell you may get from a fresh box of, say, Juan Lopez #2.

However I suppose I'm happy about that because, if I'm smoking a Sancho Panza, I'm looking for something distinctive...

Let us know how that thick, dark, mottled Belicoso was after you smoke it!

A few things dropped in while I was out of town. Started the Party with some D4 and Short cab from our host:

Party D4 RGB MAY 22

Party Shorts TUE OCT 21

RASCC OER OCT 21

Last but not least,  JLPC BRS OCT 12

A lot of recovery time needed for the Party Party but fortunately have time.

I miss the JLPC. Always thought great value stick with some age. You should post a review when u crack it open!

PLMC from our host

I have to say that I’m jealous, I’ve made multiple attempts at these. Guess it takes too long for the email to get to our host from Canada 😂
