Popular Post GVan Posted April 12, 2022 Popular Post Posted April 12, 2022 Just came in today - wow - these dark, oily wrappers remind me of the Punch Punch of old! The first one I ever had was playing Merion. I was with a member and he offered me a Cuban Punch Punch. It was the darkest, oiliest cigar I'd ever seen. By the Par 3, 9th hole I was almost high on the nicotine kick. Putting these away away a 3 to 4 year nap! 28

I have a feeling a tubo aged Royales may end up being a very special thing indeed. Thats if you can keep your hands off them. 2 1

Popular Post tjkoala Posted April 16, 2022 Popular Post Posted April 16, 2022 Cohiba Coronas Especiales. Managed to get a LTO MAR 2020. I wonder how close these were rolled prior to the world shutting down. 26
Popular Post Drguano Posted April 16, 2022 Popular Post Posted April 16, 2022 A box of H.Upmann Connoisseur No.1 arrived today with the old bands. GEM OCT 21 looks nice but between the 0°C temp and my post Covid “sense” of smell, I can’t rate the aroma. Ah, 2022… 33
Popular Post cgoodrich Posted April 16, 2022 Popular Post Posted April 16, 2022 One of those unicorns… Monte Especial 2 SOP NOV 21. Strong barnyard and chocolate aroma. Down for a nap they go. 33
Popular Post Fezztone Posted April 16, 2022 Popular Post Posted April 16, 2022 Just picked up 2 boxes of the QdO Clemenceau in Paris. They have 8 boxes left, and only 2 per customer. Literally stumbled in this place after visiting the Catacombs. It’s about a 20 min walk. Very friendly staff and an authorized retailer. As a side note, Romeo y Julieta are easy to find in all the shops I had researched prior to visiting. If you are around make a visit. You can also enjoy a cigar at Cafe Ernest around the corner. 37
Popular Post jakebarnes Posted April 17, 2022 Popular Post Posted April 17, 2022 While all the kids on the block were hunting for Easter eggs, a few surprises showed up on my porch as well. RASS cab (TUA OCT 21) from our host and a Partagas Lusitanias cabinet as well (BUP SEP 19) Hear me out...this time I do have @Kaptain Karl to blame for one of these boxes. Too many posts lately about the Lusitanias (including the Karl posts about how good they were) so I saw a good opportunity and took it. 38 1

Would love to see a comparison on the two Churchills on your journal! Kinda wish that RyJ would just revert all of the Churchill branding back to the old branding for the Churchill like they did for the Anejados. Such a cleaner and more regal look. 3
Popular Post Doublesh0t Posted April 18, 2022 Popular Post Posted April 18, 2022 had a Juan Lopez dry boxed ROTT this weekend. Will review shortly but big thumbs up on these guys. mags are resting. 28

I miss the older style too. I'll have those (cigars listed above) published at the end of this week. 6

Internally fighting myself over getting a regular box of Churchills for nice occasions against the desire to have the old branding in tubos (and considerably more $) simply because that exact cigar and look/feel was my entry into the cigar world. The mind is a weird one sometimes. 5
Popular Post OrangePaw Posted April 18, 2022 Popular Post Posted April 18, 2022 Today’s mail brought the following box from the FOH team, perfect wrappers and aroma! 🔥😍 29

Lfhard Posted April 19, 2022 Posted April 19, 2022 @Eric05 man those wrappers look nice and oily. I also love Hibiki and Macallan. I’ve only had a couple of drinks for the 17 year Hibiki man that stuff is good. I normally just get the standard Hibiki harmony. Good stuff you got there. Good taste. 3
