Haha...a deceptive camera angle, no doubt! 😂

I wouldn't be so sure. I have some Rio Seco that alternate fat and skinny. Wonder if they have some off molds. 🙂

I don’t normally post my purchases but, aside from the Nudies bundles I ordered, the Lanceros will probably be the last cigars I receive for a while. The other two are highlights from my last few orde

First time with Connie No 1s but I’ve heard good things. I usually like taking one ROTT but I’m bucking the trend and setting them down for a little nap before I try one. Feet smell nice and funky. Can’t wait

Good to see Connie 1's band is exactly same as Connie No. 2/A/B nowadays 😃

I'll get the sticks out of my humidor and report back next week. The rule is that Habanos cigars have a +/- one sixty-fourth of an inch ring gauge increment for release so I'm curious to see if any of these are less than 49 rg or more than 51 rg (the Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure Especial is 50 ring gauge).

I'll be interested to see. I'll have to measure my Rio Seco but they look like 52 and 56 by eyeballing.

nawwwww I much prefer the simple band without the need to tell everyone what you're smoking. if you know, you know!

Tigers arrived yesterday

For me, I personally like the change of Connie 1 band, since it clearly shows Connie 1 is a part of the Connie Series.

Please let me know when you review brand new SCDH ER. I saw that CC review on FOHtv and I surprised that it got 80s compare to Punch 898 and ERDM Tainos.

IIRC, Rob said all the one's he's had rank between 90-93 so far.

I recall Ken also gave 90s to SCDH Harimau Malaya ER before like Rob, but the one he had during video review session had construction and muted flavor issues, which were the reasons why Ken rated it 89 in the video IMHO.

Didn't do a review but the one I smoked from an earlier box was good enough that I went back to get a couple more! Cocoa, molasses are the flavors I recall. I suspect there are more nuances in the flavor which given time will show themselves. No construction issues in that first example

Thanks buddy! Good to know it still has SCDH DNA despite of its Montesco size. Maybe I should try it before it's too late 😁

Right, so one was an 89 and the rest low 90s.

Yep. Rob and Ken said it's flavorsome sweet chocolaty low 90s SCDH ER CC except the one Ken reviewed on the video. It seems to be one of the successful ERs based on FOHtv review.

Baalbecks have arrived!  Interesting that the inner certificate shows a total count of 2400, must have been planning for boxes of 25 and shifted gears after the inner certificates were printed

My Cab of Baalbeck just arrived. Same boxcode. # 0149. Wondered why emblem says 1200 but insert reads 2400?

I know, it’s weird. But since the 0128 matched on mine, I don’t think it’s anything nefarious

From our host - a beautiful box of PCC aged Monty 2’s, and a couple more boxes of Taino RE’s....because (x) is never enough.

I keep passing on Tainos when they show up on 24:24. I have 4 boxes of Punch 898 but have yet to sample. Guess I really should pull trigger next time.

I need to give both a try at some point!  Think Prez's statement when Taino's were on 24:24 is they really need like 5 years or something?  Hesitant to buy a box and store it for 5 years in case I am not a fan.

That is one reason the BR crew opened up partial box listings. There will most likely be a few that treasure a cigar you may dislike!
