I really enjoy San Juans when I'm golfing since there's not a lot of nicotine and the flavors of sweet cream and a little barnyard twang is enough for me between shots. If they don't have that twang, my bubble will be burst. San Juan's around 5-6 years is when they really shine. Finished a 2015 box last summer, almost all winners. Just started diving into my 2016 box, and again, winners. Bland is not how I would ever describe them. Heavy sweet cream at 5 years. Enjoy! Did a review of them at 4 years. 4

I will never smoke that cigar. 52 is really my limit. SJ and the Leyanda are my only exceptions.

The stickers make it obvious that it wasn't the FOH crew who put it back wrongly. Which got me thinking - has the direction of the word on the lids always been interchangeable (and I simply did not notice before)? Or is there a set formula (e.g. BBF is always "upside down", Mag46 is always "right side up")? Just Cuba being Cuba?

It was my first Mag 46 so nothing else for me to compare it to but... the burn was great and the flavors were very yummy (lemon zest at first then spices and earthy for the last 1/2). It probably helped that I set my expectations low too, ha!

I'm still heavily tilted stock wise towards the SJs. However, after having a couple of stunners, I got a full cab and two 10ers of the RS from our host and another full cab from a diff vendor. Yes it's a big cigar but if you enjoy that spicy cappuccino foam flavor profile you gotta try these. Ask @Lrabold89 ... we chat about these all the time. 5
Popular Post GVan
The very last box of JL2's - I think I've said that before! But when they look this good and the JL1's have been smoking great -- it's hard to stop buying 2020 JL's. Of course it helps in stopping when the wife saw the January and February VISA bills (Ouch). 25

I totally get the wife angle @GVan. I get away with buying as long as I don’t tell her “we don’t have the money” when there is something she desires. Happy wife, happy life!!!

Popular Post Chibearsv
Recent arrivals. The petite royals were intriguing to me so I bought a 6 pack to give them a try but petite is not really a good description for me 🤣. PLPC 50 cab goes right to the bottom of the stack for a long rest.

Popular Post ChangBang
24:24 winnings - 1/4 of connie A's and RyJ exhibition4 and D4. Plan was to smoke the singles to see if I wanted more but it took too long and I already got another 1/4 of the RyJ's 🤷♂️. D4 will probably be the first one to be smoked to see if I need to bite the next time they come up! 25

Popular Post Kongelunden
Bolivar Libertador (TUA SEP 20) arrived today from our kind host. Great looking box, and looking forward to enjoy these once they have rested a bit. I've only had one Boli Libertador previously, but was such a great experience that I had to get a box - and another one on the way 😋

It was slightly underfilled, but far better than being too packed in my opinion. Easy to draw and nice nutty/creamy/slight floral flavors. @Devo what did you think? I smoked one and was pleasantly surprised. Nice pickups B-Rad! Showing some heat there. Have a box of Mag 46 BRE OCT 18...fingers crossed

Popular Post GVan
Latest arrivals: I'm really excited about the Sancho Panza Belicosos - never had one and really enjoy the SPNP's. RAT-20 box code strikes again - these aren't just shiny - they're "greezy". Be interesting to see how they smoke in about 6 months! Parti Shorts look good as an MSU code should look from '19.
Popular Post Trapper99
Another vendor had a good deal on some Monte No. 3s, so I picked some up and this is what arrived😲. Between winning an El Pres sampler yesterday and this today, I'm on the luckiest streak of my life!!😂. Impressive box press I'd say. Worried a little they may be past their prime, but I'm going to let them sit for 30-60 and find out!
