Personally I’m not much of a maduro wrapper person, so I tend to ignore EL’s. Remember, we humans are usually first drawn by sight before smell, touch, and taste.
Popular Post fokker4me
I overpaid on BR for these, but I wanted an older box to start smoking sooner. I don't like Hoyo dead fresh.

Actually, not that much surprised by the quality of an EL-wrapper per se. But given the historical background and heritage of Quai d’Orsay, this here appears to me like Eva Mendes in functional outdoor clothing - picture khaki zip-off pants, white knee-high stockings and brown sandals. I was never a fan of the brand-revamping, but this EL seems to top it all.

Popular Post prodigy
Lrabold89 Rob posted this on the forum a few months back after someone complained of their cigars not being oily enough (I think psp was purchased by the unsatisfied customer). Essentially the idea is that cigars need to rest after transit and many people notice their cigars got oilier after resting 30-60 days in a humidor. Hope this answers the question. That was actually me that caused that entire experiment. I ordered a psp/hq box of RASS. The 2424 post that day showed HQ(a spectacularly beautiful box), my box was labelled red sticker PSP. Mine didn't even look remotely close to the HQ. They were pale with no oils at all. They are still pale with no oils, and they arrived back in February. It was just as covid hit and I decided not to send them back, as it would have taken months for them to get back to FoH, if they ever made it back at all. Also, if you ever send something back, you risk being banned for life if it ends up meeting the standards as advertised. I have never seen a box become "more oily" after resting. Maybe it happens, but I have never seen it happen. Pictures below are of what the HQ boxes of the psp/hq offering was that day, and one is of my psp box. Ill try and take a picture of that box as they are now at some point tomorrow. Its been a while since I've looked at them. Bri Fi
@prodigy I would highly doubt they would end up looking as oily in the pic listed on 24:24 with time down, But the psp grading is not just based on oily wrappers. It’s construction and aroma at cold as well. I get your frustration but At the end of the day I’m sure you got a great box of cigars. They still look amazing.
