I have the same box code although mine look a little darker.  I already tried one from a second box MSU May-19 and wow was it good after only 30 days of rest.  These have some real potential!

A half box of MUP Oct 2019 Trinidad Topes, courtesy of our host. What's interesting about this acquisition is firstly, I should have just picked up a whole box in the first place, instead of opting for a half box purchase a little over a month ago, liking it, and getting this second half box acquisition. Secondly, both 6-pack half-boxes have the same box code but this one has darker wrappers so I look forward to comparing these with my lighter Topes.

Very lovely bouquet when I opened them up.

The sheen on the wrappers are very appealing.

Think I am going to smoke this box first.

IMHO, this is probably the most underrated cigar in the Habanos Global Brands regular production.

I certainly think they are the best Monte. I like the #2 and the PE, but these are classier. And yours look great!

I've never had any Especiales No. 2. How would you compare these to a Monte 1?
