I didn’t go on a buying frenzy in Cuba, but I did pick up a few nice boxes.  In addition to the boxes, I also bought 19 Siglo VI singles.  Full boxes of these were as tough to find as Behikes.

So you found some San Cristóbal de la Habana La Cabañas eh?

Didn't have time to hunt around though did get a couple at the opening dinner. Need to find a couple boxes to maintain my collection of all Cuba RE to date.

Surprised we didn't cross paths down there though perhaps we did and didn't realize it.

I don’t normally post my purchases but, aside from the Nudies bundles I ordered, the Lanceros will probably be the last cigars I receive for a while. The other two are highlights from my last few orde

We had to eat dinner at a restaurant owned by the daughter of the LCDH manager, in order to get them.

I know it sounds like a joke, but it’s not.  LOL

I came on Wednesday, so we probably didn’t.  Would have liked to have met you though.

Returned from the island last night without my bag (will post about the week separately) and was happy to find these beauties waiting. The stunning 12 days of “Hey, you know you look like Santa?” (Fuck off!) Sampler, an amazing FoH Auction score of Sancho Panza Belicosos BRS JUL 12 and a splendid clearance box of H.Upmann Connoisseur No.1 BRE MAR 19. They all smell great...

It was so nice to meet you guys.  Hopefully we will meet there again one day!

And the festival cigars that I didn’t smoke.  I smoked 2 at the festival.  A P2 was one of them, and I cant remember what the last one was.

Well done sir! One needs a serious connection to score a box of Esplendidos and Talismans in Cuba these days.

Be happy! For some of us, that would indeed be a "buying frenzy"! ?

True.  And I am very happy. ?

It seems like everyone there brings back 400 or 500 cigars, so when you are around that, you tend to lose perspective.

You gotta admit tho... Those little Serrano ham rolls were to die for. Probably the best bite of the night.

Javi! Great fun! My acquisitions from the Island are in the big freezer as well. But... boxes are still arriving from our host including this stunning cabinet of 50 Ramon Allones Specially Selected from MSU JUN 19. The aroma alone is as sensual as a third date. Wow!

Amazing time out there Pete. It was great to see you and Agnes out there partaking in the festivities. Gotta post some pics to that events thread. Cheers bud!

Having never smoked a Fundadores yet (I know you’ll say that I’ve never lived yet) but wondering if there is much difference between light or dark wrappers? There seems to be variation in shade with your acquisition. Which to go for ?
