Monte Especial No.2 ASR ABR 19. Crappy photo: these look better in the flesh. They also feel great: no tight rolls, beautifully even spongy consistency. Important for skinnies! First one smoked last night was amazing for such a young stick. Hurrah!

MSU JUL 18 and MSU OCT 18 on the LGC Orgullosos RE Suiza.  Almost identical wrappers and sheen.  See ya in 4 years.

Good question.  I am not sure since I have not had one either.  I would guess 5-7 years.  Maybe someone else can give us some input on their experience with the Monte Especial.

In my experience they need 4+. Young ones are quite flat, IMO. Hold.

+1 to that.  They are a long vitola so it naturally takes more time for air circulation/aging processes to progress.  But I'm always impatient so trying one to get a baseline first never hurt me.  Theres plenty left in the box for down the road lol.
