Popular Post King of Norway Posted February 14, 2019 Popular Post Posted February 14, 2019 In my humble opinion, one of the better robustos from Cuba 11
Popular Post aphexafx Posted February 14, 2019 Popular Post Posted February 14, 2019 It's been a while since I've stocked any robustos. Lovely hue on these. Could smell them before I opened the box. ❤️ 16

Popular Post inter4alia Posted February 14, 2019 Popular Post Posted February 14, 2019 From the Xmas/NY bonus from our host. I think these are the most beautiful sticks in my stash. Going to be really hard to not touch them for a while. 14
Lotusguy Posted February 14, 2019 Posted February 14, 2019 Some more Lonsdale goodness landed this morning. I'm having a little trouble reading the code. Any help would be appreciated. Transitional code from mid-99 is my take. Probably June. BTW, sorry no pics of the contents of my new Belux humidor yet - power has been out here since early this morning and the lights suck when running the generator. 1

Any help would be appreciated. ? Partagas, June '99. The code is a mix of the two codes running in parallel at that time. Should read either ESOO or CCUI, but the mixing is also not a rare sighting (well, it's Partagas... ). Congrats, they are looking nice! 1
Popular Post pelicanesq Posted February 15, 2019 Popular Post Posted February 15, 2019 Went to the LCDH in Cozumel. Picked up the new Punch Duke Mexico Exclusive and a Trinidad Vigia. I had a Vigia from a sampler here, but gave it away to a friend who had never had a Cuban before. He let me know it was the best cigar he ever had. So I had to get one again for myself to try!! 11

Is it possible to even find the Fonseca regionals anymore? Or were they only in cabinets like this one? You should post a review after smoking each one. Would love to read up on your experience! 1

I was able to secure one box last year through the aging program they do in the benelux region. Have not seen them anywhere else. Have not had the chance to try one yet though 9
ayepatz Posted February 15, 2019 Posted February 15, 2019 Yup. The conclusion was that TAECCLL was, at best guess, Nov 99. CC represents 99 in the NETAGIDOCU code, but in other codes from 99 the LL comes after TAE, and in those codes, that represents Nov. It’s a punt, but as close as I can get. @gojira, going by the same thinking, and referring to @CaptainQuintero‘s list, with your ES replacing my LL, that would seem to indicate Jun 99, as @Lotusguy said. Again, just a punt, but best I can offer. 4

Let them all age for a long time? The plan is to smoke the regionals and use this as my desktop/singles humidor. I am running a bunch of coolers and two cabinet humidors and it’s a pain to dig through them all the time. The cigars in them are all at least 7 years old so don’t really need further aging. The Fonsecas I’ve had before and to be perfectly honest, I wasn’t a big fan but let’s see. The Punch Royals are very good and I’ll just refill my partial cab. The others I’ve actually not had before which was part of the reason for buying this piece. Thanks all for the kind words! 1

Did you find the Fonseca's to be too mild? That seems to be the beef people have with them. I actually love Fonseca, especially the #1's. I seem to be one of the last people out there that enjoys the mild side of Cuba ? Beautiful humidor too! I love the idea you have for it. Thanks again for all the details. I'm trying to learn more about all these collectables ?

Popular Post JohnS Posted February 15, 2019 Popular Post Posted February 15, 2019 Romeo y Julieta Churchills have been so good and consistent for me lately that I simply couldn't resist a quarter pack of these GOM Ago 2018 RyJ Churchills to add to my 'smoking now' humidor! 16
Popular Post MigsG Posted February 16, 2019 Popular Post Posted February 16, 2019 Beautiful sheen on this box of Monte Open Juniors, EPM Mar 18, first time I've purchased these. Had one ROTT tonight at my Friday evening hangout with cigar buddies. What can I say, I really like them. Received this box of SCDLH El Principe as well, TOS May 16, looking forward to having one soon. One of my favs in my weekly rotation of Party Shorts and Supers, BCJs, RASCC, and Trini Reyes. 12
