My 50th Birthday cigar just came.  

Davidoff Chateau Yquem.

They started putting bands on them in 1980 and they were discontinued in 1982 so this one must be from one of those years.  

I would normally worry about them being past their prime, but I trust the person I bought it from, and he says these are smoking beautifully.  I’m really looking forward to March 7th.

It's hit or miss, but you have to roll with it.  I put in for 2 boxes on January 17.  They confirmed shipping on Jan. 22 and they actually arrived Jan. 29.  Has to be a record.

Happy Birthday! My 50th was in January. I almost picked up a Dom Perignon to celebrate, but could get no assurances on smokability.

I am full to the brim and even a box of trinnies still on its way in from our host but I’m in Amsterdam and I couldn’t resist Been trying for the QD’Os on 24:24 but never been fast enough and the Montes, as soon as I saw the box I was hooked! It’s now the most special box in my collection and I just promised myself it will only ever be broken open at my daughters wedding

Just received my cab of Epi Especial that I purchased last summer on 2424.  It was stored in the online humidor until I was able to store it. 

Was going to let them acclimate a month or so then try one.  Couldn't wait, so torched one up tonight.   Oh my, what a smooth smoke.  First Cuban I've had with more than 3.5 yrs of age.  Wow, what a treat!  Slight cocoa,  graham cracker and caramel. These have to be at their peak. Best Cuban I've had to date.

Got home from work today and found these gems on the front porch (of course since I checked the UPS tracking number like 5 times today I already knew they were there, lmao). Who else checks the tracking number a billion times before they get to your house??

was a couple of other spots, and some up by the band.  Wiped off, and isolated from the rest of the stash.  Found another one that looked iffy too.  I've been lucky (knock on wood) and haven't seen much so far, this is my first appreciable amount of mold in my stash so I'm new guy scared
