Not a huge fan of the Regional program but couldn´t resist this one.

Putting it away for a long sleep...

Around 1200 SEK for a box,

Got a discount at my B&M since I´m a member and ended up at an even 1000 SEK.

Doesn't seem like a bad price if my currency calculator was correct. When do you plan on firing one up?

Rather reasonable for being in this taxed up part of the world.

Perhaps test one around 2020. :cigar:

So $110-$133 USD--not bad considering. Box code is December 17? Wow so they have just been sitting on these? I might have to pick up a box...or 10.

A box of monte A i got about two weeks ago alongside other boxes posted here. Can any one help with the boxcode, it’s on whats left of the outer box. Nice looking cigar although a monster of a stick. 085EE36F-56E2-4379-BBED-89DF199C4AE4.thumb.jpeg.b535a96f1975e695e3e08d6867e2839c.jpeg

Well, let's start with the basics. The Monte A is a 1971 release, and varnished box of 25 was discontinued in 2010. There are no marking on the box itself, just the piece of cardboard? Looks like someone tried to label it themselves as 1989? Not sure going by that stamp. Any other distinguishing marks?

*Edit: Judging from the box seal, it appears this box is from sometime between 1994 and 2004. Regardless, nice addition.

Thanks for the info. The Botl who sold me this said it was from 2001. But the boxcode made me wonder if something was wrong with the year. Heres are two more pictures of the box with seal.35EAA948-F676-4A07-862C-8C8D44371EE1.thumb.jpeg.0575c1914214a17359048d76cc59d228.jpeg50FFF918-88E0-4625-A473-5ECD09398978.thumb.jpeg.5a4814db7a47c751b236f36aa79eb65a.jpeg

Thanks for the help! But what how do you narrow it down to 99-02?

I narrowed it down to between 1999 and 2002 because of the serial prefix of the warranty seal

Impressive ✌?

Thank you, but most of my knowledge comes from Mr. Min Ron Nee and his beautiful encyclopedia and/or cubancigarwebsite.com. Cheers!
