Not exactly bought recently .... but just found today in my lockers : Trinidad Fundadores EL NOSU ( El Laguito OCT 1998 ) bought in 2006 in Switzerland. Placed inside my lowest locker and to

I haven't posted in here for quite some time and thought that it would be nice to share some vintage cigars that just came in. I like to collect and smoke as many different vitolas de salida as possib

I don’t normally post my purchases but, aside from the Nudies bundles I ordered, the Lanceros will probably be the last cigars I receive for a while. The other two are highlights from my last few orde

Cohiba Behike 56 - Purchased a box of 25 for what I now know is a VERY good price.  Too naive and too excited, so I finished them off in about 10 weeks.  I've since learned that this was probably about the amount of time they needed to actually settle before even having one through the gradual aging process.  Joining here and reading through the forum is going to be quite the learning experience!

Sounds like you've FINALLY come to the right place @MikeinKS. You may have gotten burned on those Behikes but at least you've finally found this great community and can now learn from the vast knowledge that's assembled here. I think I learn something new here almost every day. Welcome and best of luck on your next purchase. I suggest picking up something from the 24:24 here or the online store. Cheers!

Thank you all for the replies.  A little honest "harshness" never hurts.  I'm going to try to download some pics of the box.  The bands had the hologram and everything.  The smokes were perfectly uniform and incredibly smooth.  Lots of body and no bite.  I've ordered the New to Cuban Sampler and will have a really hard time waiting for it to arrive and then being disciplined enough to let them settle a bit.  If this is the worse burn I get, I'll be a happy man.

I really hope you didn't get too burnt. Price is often an indicator too - real 56s don't go for less than US$70 each. "Too good to be true" is usually true.

I actually prefer this packaging, can't stand all those piano lacquer boxes. This box reminded me of the golden days of SKA and 2tone records, to which 'The Specials" were signed to

Funnily enough, the UK once again looks like Margeret Thatchers "Ghost Town"

Nice... So are these boxes older or newer? I would assume older, but also if you don't mind, how about show us a pic of the cigars.
