I picked up some EOT Sep 15 short Churchill’s and a 3 pack of Mag 54 tubos at Dubai duty free. The Churchill’s look great although I needed to check through quite a few boxes to find some I was happy with. I was surprised at how great every mag 54 was that I saw. I wanted to pick up a couple to see if they are worth a box buy but first impressions are certainly good.

Yeah, unfortunately the Short Churchills from '15 or thereabouts were a real disappointment. I bought two 10ct boxes in total in early '16 and that was only because I asked Rob to find two presentable boxes out of the swill he was receiving.   He managed to do it, bless him, but I recall him saying how much of a let down the QC was on that once glorious robusto.

I don´t think the launch has happened yet. These did not come from a retailer.

Usually don't find anything worthwhile at the CPH airport but these DEs had 18 months and were below what I'd pay for them otherwise. Never seen the warning on the inside of the box (that I can recall at least) and definitely not the new note in there.. No more sealed boxes EU wise?
