I don’t normally post my purchases but, aside from the Nudies bundles I ordered, the Lanceros will probably be the last cigars I receive for a while. The other two are highlights from my last few orde

She is. Believe me, she wants a pair. I draw the line somewhere, and $700+ for a pair of shoes is it. Going into Needless Markup and seeing the prices on some of those shoes is insane.

Cheaper than some of those purses and much nicer to look at but I get your point :)

My fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh box from the Great Coupon Calamity of 2017 arrived today ... and my wife is way past “suspicious” now. She saw the boxes and immediately left. She came back two hours later with a new Tory Burch bag and matching wallet.

Yeah but these look much more beautiful than any bag could ever.  Looks so beautiful brings a tear to my eye.

I even think my exact words to her were, “Take your new bag and put it in the closet for 5-10 years ... maybe it’s worth a quarter what you paid. Take these boxes of cigars and put them in the closet for 5-10 years ... I might double my money.”

Of course she knows I’ll smoke them all by then, but that’s besides to point!

Nice, John! i have a box from 2011 i've been progressively sampling...not quite there yet except one i had a few years ago, which was terrific! the one last year was just ok and just full of woodsy flavors. i'm hoping a few more years down will have most of the lot at the same level as that one a few years ago.   have you had one from '14? if so, how are they smoking?

This looks just like my wife's collection, and she leaves them laying around too. As if they were buster brown's. The ugly part is my old lady does have the 6 or 7 designer bags to go with the shoes. Gucci tote I got her as a wedding present hasn't seen the light of day in months. She walks around with that ridiculous Louis Vuitton tote... Have any of you ever tried picking your wife's bag up? It's a solid 68 lbs, at least. Backup shoes, makeup for days, 2 phones, janitors keys, but wait wait wait... Go back, I forgot something. ? What could you have possibly forgotten?

She stopped complaining about my cigars a while back.

Nice score! I’ve got a box of ROE Mar 17, and they are absolutely delicious, right now. Like, mind-blowingly delicious given their age. I’m looking to stock up on these.

Yes, I had one with Alex Groom, the proprietor of Cuban Cigar Website a few weeks ago and for a 4 year old HdM Le Hoyo des Dieux, it was evolving quite nicely. The elements of cream that build up over time was evident at this point, and will only do so more and more in the ensuing years. We both greatly enjoyed our cigars. We were fortunate as both cigars were not predominantly 'woody'.

Just got in my first 24:24 delivery of Montecristo petite edmundos.

I know now I should let them acclimate for a month but I’m inpatient and lit one right up. Tastes great and I can’t wait to see how they are with some age on them.

Very nice looking creamy wrappers! I've yet to try the PE's but they are at the top of my list. Enjoy!
