Yep, coloniales from a sale a few weeks back. The wrapper shade/sheen is just right for me. How does the box look that you picked up?

Monte PE  (UGE ENE 17) from a clearance special. Not sure if it was a Mad Monday or not, but the price was delightful, and quality is very good.

So I was on a FB group for cigars. A local guy had some nice boxes of regionals and LCDH smokes. I asked him if I could meet to pick them up rather than have him mail them to me. We got to talking and he asked what I did for a living. I am a Realtor....he says "I have been thinking of buying a house!". So I start sending him listings and meet him at a home he liked. He brought me a gift for helping him out! Really nice gift! La Flor De Cano Italian Regional Cassanova's. = )

So true... Of course, Connie 1s are kind of notorious for looking kind of gnarly but smoking like a dream, right?

I sure hope these are up to snuff. I broke away from the general FOH consensus (again) and I smoked one ROTT last night. It was worth it, but barely. Gotta burn ‘em to learn ‘em, right?

I’ve been on an Upmann binge lately: Connie As, Connie 1s, Mag 46, Mag 50, Sir Winston...all in addition to my existing deep stashes of HUPCs and HUHCs.

I’ve found Upmann to worth my coin. Here’s the hoping these gnarly Connie 1 buggers work out!

I don't think those really look gnarly at all. All the Connie 1s I've had have looked much gnarlier. And all have been excellent cigars. I guess they're kind of like PLPC in that regard. I'm betting you'll like them plenty once they acclimate. I'm an Upmann fan too.

Partagas Serie E No. 2 UBM Jul 17. Seconds from a 24:24. I wasn't expecting these for a couple more days, so they were a nice surprise. Never had them before, and I was a bit weary about making my first sample a box of seconds, but everyone is always raving about the seconds here, and the price was great.
