These are going to be sooooooo hard to keep my hands off until this spring and golf season starts back up.   Tried one (as tradition dictates) right outta the box and before they went into the tuppidor and was very very impressed.  Couldn't stop tasting a sweetness to them..dried fruit and honey.

Different theories on this but that last photo is them hand wiped down in beautiful condition sans plume.

Also they're not moist and have a little crinkle to the ear... just that wonderful oil crystallizing...

That was awfully fluffy to be plume.  I'll post a plume pic later today.  And plume won't wipe off.

Well it wasn't mold!!!

What is Mold?

Most of us are familiar with the look of mold after discovering it on old bread or leftovers that stayed in the fridge too long. The type that affects cigars is very similar. Unlike plume, mold can present itself in an array of unattractive colors including green, yellow, gray, blue and white. Mold is such a menace to your collection because this nasty substance is alive – it can grow and spread.

Mine as well. It was a good year for the Cuban cigar industry. At least based upon this year's purchases

Looks like '66 was an exceptional, vintage year...add me to  that birthyear list.

Although young I cant stop smoking from my first box of ETP MAR 16 so I got another. Although these don't look as chocolatey I'm hoping they taste the same in the future....c13e1c28a2206a5a803b6cd40d380875.jpgd48b73b0f862fa171c1b41d5c3586551.jpg
