New member but these are my purchases from the last month or so. Let's just say my neighbor clued me in on the a little secret last June and I've been stocking up since. Placed my first 3 orders with Diana this week(Partagas 8-9-8 PSP, Monte #4 PSP/HQ and a box of Upmann Mag 46's) and am really looking forward to some more reliable customer service, which it's clear this operation has!

Bolivar Petit Corona- good looking box. Going to smoke the first today

I don’t normally post my purchases but, aside from the Nudies bundles I ordered, the Lanceros will probably be the last cigars I receive for a while. The other two are highlights from my last few orde

RASCC These are darker than they appear in photo. Very robust. I've had a few and they pack some serious power. Amazing.

Hoyo EE. Ok looking box. As everyone has mentioned, creamy and smoke well young. Not my favorite vitola so far but very nice smoke. Compared to the box of Epi 1's and Epi 2's I have these are quite a step down.

PSD4. The first box I ordered OPG 15 was average and then these showed up. Incredible. Perfect in every way. Only smoked one and going to sit tight on the rest for a bit.

Upmann Connie 1. First one was a complete dud, horrible very light draw and dry harsh smoke. The next one was totally amazing. Going to have another this weekend. Not the prettiest sticks out there but I've got a good feeling about this box.

PSPCE- After plowing through half of an incredible box of Habaneros (LAR 13) I grabbed a box of these. One ROTT was average and one on NYD after a month was considerably better. Looking forward to these improving a touch more but a nice, easy coffee smoke. Not going to blow doors off but not something you need to fuss over either.

Hoyo Epi #2 15 pack. Had such luck with the 15 pack of Epi 1's I grabbed these. Amazing quality darker and oilier than they appear. Haven't smoked one yet but high hopes.

What do you make out of the box code and year? 11 or 14? I vaguely recall these began in 2014 but not sure?

Hoyo Epi #1's.Bought these in Sept but had to post as they are absolute stunners. Toothy, oily, dark and just a great smoke. I've had 3 and each has been perfect. Much, much more intensity than the newer Hoyo's I've tried.

Last two are 15 packs of PSP quality as well. Just luck I guess, especially with the #2's which are toothy and oily as can be! Had one of each and am more than impressed. Trying to hold off until Summer before trying again. Second box are Edmudos.

Anyhow. caught up for my recent stuff. Looking at photos and corresponding box codes has been helpful to me so I figured I'd chip in. Sorry for the run on!

You have been a busy boy. Looks like 14 to me.

I would take them out of the cardboard If you are going to age them. Some find the cardboard packs can get a little flat. I have not experienced this, but remove my cigars from cardboard anyway. However, you have some nice Hoyo Epi 1s with 4 years that have not been affected so maybe it is myth.

It's been about 10 years since I was smoking regularly so I just started collecting last June. After a summer of smoking a lot of younger cigars I realized the only way I could get ahead and save some was to stock up big, so I did. I only smoke 2-3 a week on avg so I should be set for a bit. I

Are you referring to the cardboard dress boxes or the 3 packs? I guess my concern was the likely hood they will get banged around more if I remove them. I take them out about one a week, open the lids for a bit and put them back in the storage in reverse order.

Lucky to have great friends here on the forum who are always happy to share...a big part of what makes cigars so enjoyable to me is the sharing and camaraderie it fosters. I was involved in two incredible splits this week...

SLR Pacificos from Tim!

attachicon.gifimage.jpg

VR Don Alejandro from Bus!

Y'all make this a lot more fun!

Cheers!

Smoking an SLR Asia Pacifico right now. Very tasty...

Looking really nice. If the smoke lives up to the looks - congrats!

I'm going to take one for a test drive today. They're rather moist (boxcode is November 5, 2015) but smell an awful lot like a pungent custom roll.

EDIT: Smoked one. Tasted similar to a JO freshie, with shots of intense sweetness. Still, somewhere in the boundaries of a sick period. Gonna forget about them for 6 months.
