Just shows how different wrappers can be on different cigars made in the same factory, same month and year. I've got 2 boxes of Hoyo San Juans with that same boxcode of EML FEB 14 and they look like Gran Reserva wrappers, that golden caramel color with a slight sheen yet your PLPC's have those dry, dark and dusty wrappers. I'm always disappointed by cigars with wrappers like that as I've always found them to be nothing short of mediocre, if that. How are they? Have you tried them yet as I'd be interested to know if my experiences are consistent in regards to other cigars as this?

Wish I would have picked these up when they were reasonably priced! The 09's are smoking amazing right now, one of my favorite smokes. 8
