Nino Posted January 13, 2020 Posted January 13, 2020 Found this great guide at Tocamadera, Enrique Suárez's fine Gastropub, on my last trip and it arrived today - I can highly recommend it for people travelling to Havana and looking for good advice. 3
garbandz Posted January 13, 2020 Posted January 13, 2020 These pics are a delight........Keep them, coming Nino...………. Please tell us about these cigars, I recall seeing them a while back, I cannot remember the story behind them. 1
Ryan Posted January 13, 2020 Posted January 13, 2020 It is a great book, great pictures and very up to date. I'd highly recommend it too. Thanks for posting Nino. One of the problems with travel books for Havana is that they go out of date so quickly due to new (and shut down) bars, restaurants and clubs. And now due to new hotels and museums too. Heidi's a good laugh, if you haven't met her Nino, I'll introduce you in February. She spends about 6 months of the year in Havana, maybe more. Oddly enough, I met her by accident through her housemate's girlfriend. My wife rolls her eyes every time I bring one of these home. 3

The cigars are a Salomones with my first own band and a 109 with my second private band - good stuff ?

It is a great guide and I started reading right away - so many places I didn't know about even after 15 years of Cuban travel ! Amazing. And the text is funny, explains a lot and gives good reasons for a visit to the places. No - haven't met Heidi yet, would love to. Found the book at Tocamadera and after browsing for a few minutes I knew I needed it.
