Habana Mike Posted January 13, 2020 Posted January 13, 2020 Saw this and had me scratching my head.... https://ministryofcigars.com/jas-sum-kral-tyrannical-buc-generosos-connecticut/?fbclid=IwAR1OCyoyQprJ7-3lJOnbFaLqGu2KelJJjQeoPcONZWnrY9f8PiAAssEJYMg Rob did say it was one of the best non-Cuban cigars he's had though I don't recall a vote where we agreed it was the best cigar of the year...did I miss a poll?
WABOOM Posted January 13, 2020 Posted January 13, 2020 The first 5 pack of JSK Red Knight I bought was NC heaven. 2nd 5 pack was good, but not like the first. 3rd was run of the mill Nicaraguan cigars.
Habana Mike Posted January 13, 2020 Author Posted January 13, 2020 Author did change the text to "one of the best" after I commented..... 2
prodigy Posted January 13, 2020 Posted January 13, 2020 I'd bet very few people on this forum have smoked one...Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
Islandboy Posted January 13, 2020 Posted January 13, 2020 Ok Prez, what’d you tell this guy while you two were at the bar after the show, taking a liquid tour of rum-producing regions of the world?? Have not tried the tyrannical buc myself, but based on the JSK stuff I have had, the blends Riste brings to the table have been refreshingly rebellious and interesting, certainly standing out in the sea of uninteresting and head-bashing NC’s. But best cigar of the year....um, no.
El Presidente Posted January 13, 2020 Posted January 13, 2020 Not quite I did call the Tyrannical Buc Corona (Connecticut) as the best NC that I have smoked this year. Love the size, loved the balance and the profile. 1
Fuzz Posted January 13, 2020 Posted January 13, 2020 One man's personal opinion gets attributed to the entire forum? Talk about being loose with the facts. A Cuban cigar orientated forum thinks this NC is the best of 2019! That's one sneaky marketing trick. 4
Cigar Surgeon Posted January 13, 2020 Posted January 13, 2020 My list goes live on Wednesday and I suspect there's going to be some jimmies rustled.
The Squiggler Posted January 13, 2020 Posted January 13, 2020 The only JSK I've tried are the red knight. The lancero was nice. I did almost buy a box of the tyrannical buc generosos (5.5 x 40) on half price special for black friday, but wound up buying some (tried and true) God of Fire by Don Carlos Toros instead. 5.5 x 40 is just about the perfect size as far as I'm concerned, so if the blend is good I would probably smoke the hell out of them, but I still haven't picked one up to try. Any other testimonials?
SenorPerfecto Posted January 13, 2020 Posted January 13, 2020 Delete this thread! Free marketing based on false pretense!

The TB (natural) was thoroughly enjoyed my myself, Gino and AJ while in Dortmund. I wasn't such a fan of the maddy version but in the Connecticut it was excellent. Great to see some fantastic/different things being done with NC tobacco. 1

Don't forget, this is the same company making the most Gimmicky cigar of 2019 the "NUGG", which despite its name and some of its marketing, doesn't get you high. This isn't the first time this company taken a decidedly "presidential" view of the facts. 1
MooseAMuffin Posted January 14, 2020 Posted January 14, 2020 So you can do that? You can take 1 person's opinion and attribute it to the entire forum??? "Jose L. Piedra: The new Cohiba" FOH ? 1
