Hot Takes

 

1. Difference Maker

[Yates] 49ers TE George Kittle had 85 catches on without a single drop this year (34 more than any other TE), led the NFL in receiving yards after contact (252) and was the most dominant blocker at the position. Such a force.

Since Gronk every team has been looking for a dominant TE and the 49ers have struck the jackpot with Kittle. 

 

2. Coaching Carousal

Ron Rivera moves to the Redskins and Mike McCarthy is headed to Dallas. I like both moves from a talent perspective but the big question for both these teams is whether the respective owner's will leave it in the hands of the head coaches to turn the franchises around. 

 

3. The Observant Lineman

This guy has a very unique perspective on all aspect's of the game as a 7 year pro who isn't a household name. Worth a read and a follow on his youtube channel

 

4. Dominance

[FOX Sports] 1,078 Rush Yards in just SEVEN games? ? An unheard of stretch for @Titans RB @KingHenry_2 ?

Henry has propelled the titans into the playoffs with his unique blend of size, speed and skill. There really isn't another back in the league like him. Let's see if he can do it again against the high-flying Ravens. 

 

5. A down year ?

Julio Jones’ 1,394 yards this year were the lowest in a season since getting injured injured in 2013.

Julie just keeps on going and going. Falcons need to get some help around him in 2020 to get back to the playoffs.
