RDB Posted December 6, 2019 Posted December 6, 2019 Well, apparently a 50 cab of Lusis and a box of Esplendidos... can't possibly justify those recent purchases any other way. 2 2

SigmundChurchill Posted December 6, 2019 Posted December 6, 2019 My local B & M is running a 35% off sale on Elie Bleu products, so I was thinking about getting myself a leather triple cigar case as a present to myself. But I decided not to because it will likely end up as a very expensive chew toy for my dog. He has chewed up every other leather cigar case I have. I think the cigar smell on the case, reminds him of me, so when I am not home, that is what he goes after. 2 1

Ollie can't destroy what he can't get to. LoL I've been itching to post to this thread but I'm not sure what I want yet. I'm gonna talk my wife into getting herself a Goyard tote she's been wanting on the condition she buys me a Goyard wallet. I'll report back in a few weeks if my evil plan hatches. 2

earthson Posted December 8, 2019 Posted December 8, 2019 Well, I'm currently waiting for the results from my professional licensure exam, due around Xmas day. If I pass, it's going to be a few cigar boxes I've been after, something celebratory. If I fail, no cigars and back to studying for the next administration of the test!
clutch5150 Posted December 8, 2019 Posted December 8, 2019 2 boxes of Hoyo De Monterrey Le Hoyo De San Juan 2017....They are just about perfect now!
Mikeltee Posted December 9, 2019 Posted December 9, 2019 My wife and I quit buying gifts for each other about 5 years ago. We have everything we could ever want and then some. We have 4 children and focus on making Christmas as special as we can for them. Their smiles become our gifts. I guess you could say that special box of cigars I ordered last week is my gift but if that was the case, Christmas time comes around every couple of weeks. As another guy posted, remodels done to the house is where our joy in spending money goes. I do all the labor and she buys all the material so that frees up more of my money for cigars. That's a win-win situation in my eyes especially considering I absolutely love doing the work and it's a great teaching moment for the boys. 2
Bill Hayes Posted December 9, 2019 Posted December 9, 2019 Bought a pair of AFL football boots for my nephew who is 4yo. He taught himself to kick as a 2yo watching Dusty Martin on the TV. I see it as an investment that I can enjoy in the coming years so I can live vicariously. He's already a gun at 4. PS. I also bought a trip to Texas, Mexico and Havana!

dominattorney Posted December 9, 2019 Posted December 9, 2019 Xmas and my birthday in january coincide with write off season. I had a good year this year so bought a new topcoat and 3 new made to measure suits. I can probably write off my annual golf membership too so likely I will re up that before the 31st as well. Lucky to be in a business where things I like are write offs.
