Happy to report that this is NOT a Thanksgiving tradition but most every Winter I drop a stogie and snatch it up and... yes, I know there is a right way and a wrong way to put a lit cigar in one’s mouth and I almost got it correct... almost...

It was delicious. I drank it ROTT ?. The allocation came in last week but still showed well. Yes it’s still a young one and showing good legs. Day 2 was drinking better right now than last night. I might need to seek out more.

I was in the hospital all day and this is what the cafeteria served.  Not the fanciest place setting, but believe it or not this was an excellent tasting Thanksgiving dinner.  I was quite surprised.

Took the family on a Carribean cruise for Thanksgiving week which has become something Of a tradition for us. One of the few times of the year we can all be gone at the same time. Always enjoyable and a relaxing week!  2017 PLPC was a nice finish to a great Thanksgiving! They’re getting close, btw.

Thanksgiving round 2 with my wife's family. Fried turkey but forgot to take pics of all the sides, though the usual suspects were there, followed by a Hoyo DC for the review weekend competition.

Good to read. I’ve found the label to be an incredible value versus other old school stylists.

My Mother has 2 sisters so they each host one major holiday Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas and we have a big family get together.   They rotate them every year so they host a different holiday each year.   My Mother hosted Thanksgiving this year.   As usual certain people bring their standard dish.   I always provide a brined and smoked turkey breast.

A couple years ago I started making Rosette cookies.   Which is a very thin crispy cookie that is fried.

158103795_rosettes.(2).thumb.jpg.12204114df37c88b23e7f5c016b46952.jpg

The Main menu was roast turkey, smoked turkey breast, and ham.   Then you have your standard sides stuffing, mashed potatoes, and green bean casserole.   For dessert pumpkin pie, pecan pie, and rosettes.  Lastly for desert my Mom is 100% Czech and always make Kolaches.   Unfortunately I was busy and didn't see this thread until later so I didn't get a picture of them.  Between meals we break out the poker chips and play poker.   I had a Monte #2 I was going to try to smoke but it was too cold and raining/snowing.  I am going to smoke try to smoke it later tonight.

Man you really live life on the edge smoking so close to the bands ?.  I like to leave my band on but once the ash gets about 1" to 1/2" from the band I take it off.
