El Presidente Posted November 20, 2019 Posted November 20, 2019 This was a discussion we were pondering on the deck not long ago. We started with 5 ....but it was too difficult You are given a wish of 10 cigars that you will be required to smoke for the rest of time. Unlimited.....you finish a box and another pops up.....and each is aged 5 years. You can put together any mix of Cuban or Non Cuban but the following rules apply. Only one cigar is permitted that has been discontinued. A maximum of one custom is permitted. A maximum of two Super Premiums (over $20 a stick) are permitted. your list doesn't need to have any of the above. What does your list look like?
Bram Smoker Posted November 21, 2019 Posted November 21, 2019 In no particular order: BBF, VR Famoso, VR Unicos, HDM DC, Punch DC, Parti E2, Trinidad Reyes, Bolivar Libertador, Parti Lusi, and the VRDA (no surprise). I am yet to really try many of the super premiums, so I can't take the risk of putting them on the list. I know there are many more fanciful discontinued cigars out there, but I haven't had a 1966 or Behike or Bushido, so again, can't put them on the list. I'd die a happy man with my rather uninspired/novice list.

The Squiggler Posted November 21, 2019 Posted November 21, 2019 Hmmm... this is tough. I'll mix some NCs in for yucks Trinidad Reyes Foundation Tabernacle Maduro Coronas RASS (though if I think on it I might rather have HDM Epi2) LFD Cameroon Cabinet #3 Partagas 898 Cohiba Maduro 5 Secretos A Fuente DC#3 (personal nostalgia) H.Upmann Sir Winston (assuming I can get them for the nice price of around $18 a pop) Padron 85th Maduro *over $20 CoRo Reserva (might as well) *discontinued *over $20

dominattorney Posted November 21, 2019 Posted November 21, 2019 Kinda tricky. I'd say: 1 fundy 2 cola 3 monte especial no 2 4 upman mag 46 5 bolivar corona gigantes 6 partagas lusitania 7 monte no 4 8 bolivar BBC 9 bolivar corona jr 10 partagas sd4 That about covers all the main bases for me. Also I would need a lot of thelonious monk albums, since I already have all the jerry garcia stuff anyone could ever want for.
benfica_77 Posted November 21, 2019 Posted November 21, 2019 Great question and quite hard. H Upmann - Connoisseur A Cohiba - Genios Cohiba - Robusto Cohiba - Siglo VI RyJ - Wide Churchill Partagas - Serie D No. 4 Por Larranaga - Petite Coronas Ramon Allones -Specially Selected Montecristo - No.2 Bolivar - Belicoso Fino ** Still need to try Sir Winnie, Partagas Lusi's, Fundadores and CoLA and of these batch could end up in my top 10.
Meklown Posted November 21, 2019 Posted November 21, 2019 So tempted to simply pick baseball bats as I can smoke half and toss if the situation demands! 1. Behike 56 (Super Premium) 2. CoRo 3. Monte Edmundo 4. PLPC 5. RASS 6. Trinidad Vigia 7. Cohiba 1966 (EL2011) (Super Premium + discontinued) 8. Hoyo DC 9. RyJ short churchill 10. Monte 1935 Leyenda (not sure if this falls under Super Premium, but if it does, one of the smaller sizes instead) La Trova to replace Vigia if Super Premium and Discontinued need not fall under the same cigar.
