joshhooper7 Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 The original run of Monte 80 from SOM and MOR DIC 15. HSA set out to create a classy top shelf cigar and did so outstandingly.

anjimj Posted October 24, 2019 Posted October 24, 2019 H.upmann half coronas. I will take that over any RE/LE except for the LESF which was one of a kind as well.
Popular Post Habana Mike Posted October 24, 2019 Popular Post Posted October 24, 2019 La Escepcion Selectos Finos. Perfect in almost every way. The blend, vitola, visual and tactile qualities to the cigar and smoking experience. Great packaging as well. Bolivar Especiales No 2. close second for similar reasons. 7
Meklown Posted October 24, 2019 Posted October 24, 2019 Cohiba 1966 EL2011 - had my latest one last year and by far the best I've ever smoked. The structure, taste, smoothness, flavours were absolutely phenomenal

earthson Posted October 24, 2019 Posted October 24, 2019 Por Larrañaga Robustos de Larrañaga RE. Taught me what a cigar was capable of. Transcendent yet grounding, and a clever twist on a classic (to me) blend.

Puros Y Vino Posted October 24, 2019 Posted October 24, 2019 La Escepcion Selectos Finos. Legendary from day 1 (Note: talked to Punch Joe about this years ago in Havana. He said he was on the team working on this when he was with Habanos. Apparently, this was supposed to be a Lancero but then was changed last minute. Maybe Habanos didn't want a Lancero competing with CoLa and Fundy? Also, the Don Jose was originally planned as a Churchill. I wish it was. It wouldnt have been cheap though). Runner up H&F 225. Most of the credit goes to H&F for the overall concept. If I had the money I'd buy several of the Humidor that came with the rum. 2
David88 Posted October 24, 2019 Posted October 24, 2019 It’s a tough one but the Leyenda for me just I’ve the la trova
Wilzc Posted October 24, 2019 Posted October 24, 2019 SOOO MANY!! Actually HSA's creative department isn't lacking that much when it comes to creative releases. And when Cubatabacco gets their strides right as well thats when we get a winner!! La Escepcion - Right off the bat sought after, all vitolas, especially the Selectos La Trova - Great release, We are getting essentially double the Vigia. A stately cigar Siglo 6 - Pretty much took over the Chinese market Linea BHK - They fulfilled their purpose, definitely.... Punch Sir David - David had alot of friends evidently.... QDO - The success and 'in-demand' of this cigar worries me.... HSA might just discontinue and re-release cigars at a higher price more frequently.... 2

Chef Posted October 24, 2019 Posted October 24, 2019 How many samples of each special release do you need to smoke to justify thinking that a particular stick was nailed? Do you have to smoke a whole 10 count box to be convicted of such a statement? Multiple boxes? Just one stick or two sticks?
