Bucky McSwensen Posted October 22, 2019 Posted October 22, 2019 (edited) Solid classic smoke. Starts off with cedar and leather and rich tobacco. I've had a wide range of punch punch and they all vary greatly in flavors but have the same classic punch base to them. This one smokes beautifully and I pair it with some drafting work on the back porch. Nothing improves the monotony of weekend work like a nice smoke and good weather. Second third gives me some subtle cream and vanilla but then goes back to robust leather and tobacco. Smooth burn and great smoke output. Final third kicks back in with the cedar. I get little bits of that desired fruit snack flavor (described as juicy fruit gum by someone else here) but this is fleeting. Finishes with nutty leather. This is a great smoke. Always reliable. I've had new and old and this one only has 2 years on it but is progressing well. I love punch punch because they smoke well young, are incredibly affordable and dont seem to max out on age. I've been going through this box regularly with my friends who are new to Cubans and I find it's a consistant stick that sells the unique flavors of cubans without going too heavy on the sweet hay flavors that some hate. Nothing special, not too pricy, leather notes, reliable, ages well without failing. This is a Volvo station wagon from the 90s. No sex appeal but the seats fold down. A classic sturdy reliable stick that I always want to own. I value this stick at 12 bucks Cost ratio 1.71 Cuba ratio 1.66 Edited October 22, 2019 by Bucky McSwensen Added photos 4
