Monte 2 is undeniably an iconic Cuban cigar and is very good. Get a good box like this and the flavors are cocoa, cream, biscuit with a little coffee in and out.

I likened it to a Mustang Convertible. A Mustang because it is a classic, if not iconic, muscle car that delivers. Convertible because, although it looks cool, it isn't the most functional. Muscle cars are built for speed  and the Convertible down is not aerodynamic and, imho, a loss of focus on the car's purpose. In the same way the pyramid looks good but the large ring gauge causes the blend to lose focus and intensity. It is still very good but not the best iteration. I prefer the Monte 1.
