Hollywood Ninja Posted October 17, 2019 Posted October 17, 2019 I keep a Diary since I was 17 years old and for the last 15 years write down what I smoke. No reviews - just the sticks I smoke and maybe a note if it was an unique experience. This is what I do as well. Just a sentence if the smoke was good or I write down a memorable event from the day. Often I’ll go back to an old entry to see if I can recall he day, location and all that. Helps with memory I imagine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1
PigFish Posted October 20, 2019 Posted October 20, 2019 I use a trash can. It keeps them off the floor. A nice man in a big blue truck picks them up once a week and he files them for me. The service is not cheap, but well worth it. If you want more data, PM me!!! Cheers! -Piggy 1 1
CaptainQuintero Posted October 20, 2019 Posted October 20, 2019 When I smoke a cigar for the first time I make an entry in my cigar notebooks and review it, from then on the book stays closed for that cigar: a cigar will live or die based on that first impression! It's a pretty brutal and unforgiving system but helps the most consistent cigars and punishes the least. I don't buy inconsistent cigars so it works for me
m001 Posted October 24, 2019 Posted October 24, 2019 Take a picture, and most smart phone allow you to attach notes to the picture. Then you will have the date, time, note, and the picture itself reminds you of the place and occasion.

RicoIsHere Posted October 24, 2019 Posted October 24, 2019 One can make their own database using access. Use their inventory template, and add cigars as you smoke them, and a colum for all the different characteristics. In time you'll have a robust database. I had mine for a long time until my PC just crashed. This was before using cloud storage. Or... Use CigarGeeks
dar24601 Posted October 25, 2019 Posted October 25, 2019 A small notebook nothing fancy and only sticks I’m not familiar with. Just jot down the name of stick, age and notes of what I thought of it. Helps when trying to pin down how long to age specific sticks
