I enjoy them as well , one of my favourite cigars . I like the size .Sweet and ripe , my thoughts also

You see.  I knew the one sample that I got had to be an outlier of a bitter harsh bastard.  I love the new Rio Seco because of the honey sweetness in the first third. I have to give the SJs another shot.  Maybe find some aged with lighter Colorado wrappers.

Other than 60 days down in humidor, is there aging recommendations on these? Can they be enjoyed young? Got me a box but don’t know when I should pull one...

I have multiple 10 count boxes of the San Juan. Most of them have been pretty bland... I think I have 2015-2017 boxes . Every once in a while I get this amazing berry flavor that makes me buy more. Unfortunately most of them have been too flat for my taste.

I've smoked a ton of these. I've found 2 years at a minimum and they will reward you. Wait 4+ years......holy smokes, some of the best boxes I have are from 2015 smoking wonderfully right now.

Same here. Bought two boxes when they first came out. Nothing special but good cigars upon release. Almost 5 years later and yes, they are one of my favorites too. Got one full box left from 2015.

Any specific code(s) to keep an eye out for from 2015?

what is the difference between the SJ and Rio seco? Ive been hesitant to give these a shot bc of the 54/56 size, but they're everywhere I look, I must give them a shot

Rio Seco is not as sweet

I have some ATs but have not fired one up yet.  I’ve probably been sitting on them 18 months now.

I've got half a dozen left from Aug 17 and they're beautiful. I've got the last three put away til the 3 year mark to see what happens...
