Popular Post Ritch Posted October 11, 2019 Popular Post Posted October 11, 2019 Why do I bother smoking anything else? Beautifully sweet and ripe from start to finish. If only they did a shorter half size version 4 1
bbguardsp Posted October 11, 2019 Posted October 11, 2019 If you ever get a plugged one - cut it in half, then whichever half smokes there you go! 1
David88 Posted October 11, 2019 Posted October 11, 2019 I enjoy the San Juans a lot. Need to try the Rio Seco too
westg Posted October 11, 2019 Posted October 11, 2019 I enjoy them as well , one of my favourite cigars . I like the size .Sweet and ripe , my thoughts also
Ritch Posted October 11, 2019 Author Posted October 11, 2019 How long until they stuff it up... I could actually go for a Churchill length San Juan. Now that would be something 1
CptGoodTimes Posted October 11, 2019 Posted October 11, 2019 You see. I knew the one sample that I got had to be an outlier of a bitter harsh bastard. I love the new Rio Seco because of the honey sweetness in the first third. I have to give the SJs another shot. Maybe find some aged with lighter Colorado wrappers.
CampDelta369 Posted October 12, 2019 Posted October 12, 2019 Other than 60 days down in humidor, is there aging recommendations on these? Can they be enjoyed young? Got me a box but don’t know when I should pull one...
Wookie Posted October 12, 2019 Posted October 12, 2019 I have multiple 10 count boxes of the San Juan. Most of them have been pretty bland... I think I have 2015-2017 boxes . Every once in a while I get this amazing berry flavor that makes me buy more. Unfortunately most of them have been too flat for my taste.
RichUK Posted October 12, 2019 Posted October 12, 2019 One of my favourite cigars bar none. Always a treat to have one.

Wait 4+ years......holy smokes, some of the best boxes I have are from 2015 smoking wonderfully right now. Same here. Bought two boxes when they first came out. Nothing special but good cigars upon release. Almost 5 years later and yes, they are one of my favorites too. Got one full box left from 2015. 1

Ry27 Posted October 13, 2019 Posted October 13, 2019 what is the difference between the SJ and Rio seco? Ive been hesitant to give these a shot bc of the 54/56 size, but they're everywhere I look, I must give them a shot

Tstew75 Posted October 14, 2019 Posted October 14, 2019 Not a fan, but the CC world is big & diverse. Smoke what you like!
dowjr1 Posted October 14, 2019 Posted October 14, 2019 I have some ATs but have not fired one up yet. I’ve probably been sitting on them 18 months now.
