This is the most diligent, loving rolling of a cigar I've ever seen. You can see all the years of experience. A bundle of these would be a real prize.

Thanks for posting @nino truelly mesmerizing

Thank you - happy to share this.

If you watch carefully at 3:08 mins you will see she uses a piece of string/rubber band to hold the cigar together instead of glue - never have seen this before in any roller .... unique.

Great care she takes rolling that cigar but I wonder if she typically takes 8 minutes to roll one. Based on that 3m cigars would be 400,000 hours or 10,000 typical work weeks.

No, she wouldn't take that long in a Havana factory with a "norm system" and little incentives to roll more ...

But she is on a tour, not on the run or in the factory and over 70 now, so she may take as long as she cares to IMHO.

At least here she gets a monthly Cuban salary after rolling 3 cigars.

I agree she’s more than earned the right and great to see the skill of one of the top rollers. Thanks for posting.

The work of an artisan. Amazing to think of the smallest movements and pressure developed over the years, a real artist.
