Thanks for the good honest review. I’m not v tempted by these tbh! Between BPC and BBF I feel like I’m covered. Now a Bolivar Churchill on the other hand...

Thanks for the review and intel. Got a box of these that I haven’t dipped into yet...think I’ll lay off for a while.

From my experience with EL wrappers. You don’t want them tooo dark, rough or oily.

Just a few shades darker than Colorado would do great!

Absolutely agree with this.

With the smaller ring gauge of new Upmann LE I'm guessing a lighter wrapper is gonna be even more important on them since the wrapper is just a higher % the smaller you go.

I haven't found these dramatically different than Boli's other offerings.

At their higher end, go deep on Libertadors. Trust me.

I’ve bought 4 boxes of Libertadors from various 24:24 listings and they look fabulous; much nicer than the Soberanos.  I hope they taste half as good as they look and smell. Gorgeous wrappers.

They are insanely great at that $20-ish price point. I've loved every one I've smoked.

I had a Libertador two nights ago. Box code MSU OCT 18.  Can’t say I loved it. Mostly a steel, lightly toasted tobacco and some muted leather. Pretty bad. Hopefully sometime down will show an upside.

**Edit**

I appreciate the nice, honest review here.

You definitely got a dud. Those sticks are normally always about cocoa-dusted mongrel w/ power + crazy complexity (even ROTT).  Not many Partagas factory misses, IMO.

If it was from a box you have, rest the others or dry box the next one for a few days. Stay smokey my friend!

With cigars. U never know. Hahaha.

I’ve been getting bad sticks and bad boxes lately from all sources.

Thiccc wrappers with poor burn.
