Popular Post Akela3rd Posted September 7, 2019 Popular Post Posted September 7, 2019 The Cazadores is my favourite campfire cigar, with enough balls to fend off the competition. No camp this weekend but a fire in pit in the newly named Tiki Bar at the end of the garden will do just fine (I have an inflatable palm tree on hand but am only allowed it on occasion as it's 'tacky'- go figure).Lovely oily mottled wrapper, but tightly rolled - the PerfecDraw sorted it. Sweet on the cold draw and a beautiful fruitiness on the toasting. Draw is firm but good, light smoke but definite charred cherry flavour straight away. Settling down with the fire nicely. Smoke output better now, lovely cedar and fruit combo. Strong cigar, very satisfying.Usual dark ash, good construction, holding well. Into second third and hints of cocoa bitterness. Bit of mintiness that I've had before with these. Just a suggestion, a feel more than a taste. Into the final third and the taste of fruit and cedar is strong now, combining nicely and giving a real natural rustic feel to it. It's a cigar for the great outdoors and no mistake. No corrections or relights. There's a tendancy for thicker wrappers and being fireproof with Cazzies, but this is behaving perfectly (had a few days in the desktop, which has no doubt done it some good).Very enjoyable right to the finish where it was flicked unceremoniously into the dying fire, as is only right and proper.
