Is it taboo in Aussie, US, etc to say to bad parents "any danger!?". In the UK, it all seems very confusing, the news is full of over-coddling, over cautious, over concerned sort of emotional blackmailing, but the actual parenting you see from people in public seems to be very "i cant be bothered" "little timmy, can do whatever he wants". I'm taking it as a given that everyone on FOH will be great parents, A question to you, do crappy parents and their kids annoy you? do you ever say anything? or is it taboo. I'm a parent of an 11 year old boy, I think I'm very fortunate to have such a great kid. All parents think their children are great, we love them, but I would be honest if my son was a pain and do something about that. But alas, he is simply amazing and even he at 11 years of age has often in public seen some massive nuisances at the local parks to say a piece of his mind about them to me. It's like he is an adult in a childs body!! I wouldn't allow him to get away with throwing tantrums, yelling, screaming, causing havoc in the back yard, shopping/supermarket isle etc, and although I'm a parent, I would be the first to say something to a neighbor if it was SUPER out of hand. But I would try first and put up with it, I really don't like being "That neighbor" that complains and turns the hose on the neighbor! But the onus really comes down to the parent. Kids learn good and bad habits. 1

Oh I get it, and at first I was beating my chest and grunting like a barbarian...hrugh hrugh MEAT, hrugh hrugh I'll show her, I'm a tough guy, lucky for her, vegan... I know the courts have "all" the details, I just prefer to know more for myself before grunting....plus I was having a shite day, so, there is that.

Interesting reminds me of when i was at a shop and my kid was touching tvs dvd players I told him to stop and he put on a turn I told him I was taking him outside the security guard thanked me and told me of how bad some parents were. PLenty of direspectful parents out there I just try to stay away what 99call said about the swearing used to be a regular thing with the rental next door I would end up with these neglected kids in my yard I was a sort of defacto father figure giving advice and food 1

When I was a kid, in a way every member of the public acted as a defacto disciplinarian. I recall being admonished/put straight etc by neighbours, shop owners, etc etc. Sadly interaction of kids is taboo for numerous reason A, a horrific number of paedophiles out there, and B, Parents that take strangers disciplining their kids as being an attack or criticism of them as parents. I recall vividly as a kid, we were in a country pub. My mum had found a toddler, who was about to rub dog crap into their eyes. She grabbed the toddlers arms, and ushered the kid around tables of parents, looking for mum or dad. Anyway a very hostile dad who was drinking with this mates, got up and was like "what the f-are you doing with my kid etc etc. My mum responding, "trying to stop it rubbing dog crap into his eyes!!.......what are you doing?". He took his kid and stormed off, no thank you, no nothing. 2

They served what appeared to be a pretty nice breakfast, bagels, real lox, sliced meats, but decided on putting out only vegan cream cheese with no warnings. I still cant figure out why. I mean they had plenty of animal products, but vegan cream cheese? I don't think I could ever stay there again. maybe the host was lactose intolerant?

Hahahaha total lack of awareness ,responsibility and respect, took my kids to one of those playcentres with the climbing castles and ballpits there was these kids attacking other kids, the mothers of bullied kids trying to stop them while the offenders mothers sat casually self obsessed talking shit and drinking coffee and eating cream covered food oblivious. My son and his friend fought back I stopped them and then my sons friend stood in front of a plastic cubby house one of the kids charged at him his friend got out of the way at the last second and the kid smashed his head quiite badly. The kid runs out to the skanky mothers and said he was beaten up mothers rush in all up in arms wanting to know who hurt the child I told them exactly what happened said it was the funniest thing I have seen and then asked are all your children special needs they have been attacking all the other children for no reason. They tried to argue I said you have paid them no attention no supervision they are acting feral are child services aware of your neglect Then the other mothers got stuck in to them they went off I left almost in tears from laughing

At least the teacher had the good sense to yell at the kid, instead of you. I would have steam rolled into him too..... all 163cm (5'4") of me , but then again, I do weigh 80kg (~175lbs).
