Misread the title as, "When skivvies were cool". Had to think to myself, when were they ever?

And before anyone gets any other weird ideas, skivvies in Aus means turtle neck shirts or jumpers.

Ever see the movie, "The Man From Hong Kong"? Starred Jimmy Wang Yu and George Lazenby, with a small cameo by Sammo Hung. In the film, Sammo Hung is wearing a black skivvy during the Ayers Rock scene, and a white skivvy when he is shot.

Thanks Fuzz.  I knew you would be the one to ask.  Great stage name!

Lol! It's not porn, you ninny! (though, there are some nude scenes with a young Rebecca Gilling) "The Man From Hong Kong" was the first Australian/Hong Kong film co-production. JImmy Wang Yu was a big name in HK films, Sammo Hung was in the early days of his career (TMFHK was after his minor role in "Enter the Dragon" with Bruce Lee). Both he and Jacki Chan attended the Peking Opera School at the same time (Sammo being the older of the two). If you watched any HK action films from the 70-90s, there was a good chance Sammo Hung was in it.
